Organisers of this years Kirk Hallam Lakeside Festival say they had a furry good day on Sunday (3rd July).
Crowds flocked to the lake off Godfrey Drive to be introduced to birds of prey, reptiles and dogs.
There were also circus skills, and an organ grinder with a fake monkey.
Esther Collington, treasuerer of organisers Friends of Kirk Hallam Lake and Meadows thanked member Oliver Dickinson for donating £300 towards the free, non-profit event.
“It was very successful with lots of people and lots of stalls,” she said.
